100 Climbs

What an inspiring little book Simon Warren's 100 Greatest Cycling Climbs turned out to be.*

Mulling over a beer on the eve of the 2018 Dragon Ride, some friends and I bought the accompanying app and set ourselves a multi year challenge to complete all 100 of Britain's best road climbs. 5 years later, with some memorable trips to the far corners of the UK, we've chalked up around three quarters of them - all recorded on Strava of course.

June '21. Beautiful day for an epic struggle into a ferocious headwind on Chapel Fell (#62)

It's hard to keep up with Mr Warren, who has added a further 200 climbs to the collection before we've even finished the first set. We've dipped into a few of the additions along the way, including the cracking climb to the radar station on Great Dun Fell, described as "the greatest climb in England".

Stay tuned for updates on our trip to tick off northern Wales in May '23.
